Introduction

Grand Union Morris were a mens side who danced Cotswold Traditions (bells, hankies and sticks). We were based in the Memorial Hall, Denham, Buckinghamshire, and met most Thursdays from September to April. During the summer we danced the morris at local venues and further afield.

GUM were founded as a result of a local government grant in 1976. Since that time we've keept a record of our exploits in scrapbooks and thanks to the wonders of modern technology we can now publish them, covering all the years to 2015, here for everyone to browse and enjoy.

The Side's Demise

Sadly, due to increasing age and infirmity and a lack of new recruits, Grand Union Morris have decided to hang up their bells.

You'll no longer see us out and about in Bucks and Middx but you may occasionally see us on TV repeats and even a film. We are still very much in active contact with each other so if you're ex-GUM drop us an email.
